Overview
This section includes the strings Gedcom Publisher uses when showing generation-related text from the Descendant Lineage Person Entry Item, the Chapter People - Ancestors User Item, and the Chapter People - Descendants User Item.
General Properties
Alphabetic Values
The Alphabetic Values string defines the characters used to indicate the generation number. The first character is used for generation zero, the second character is for generation one, etc.
Ancestor-related Properties
Number Words
The Number Words string in the Ancestors section contains words for generation numbers. These words are used when generating an ancestors generation number. Words are separated by the || delimiter. The first word is for generation zero, the second is for generation one, etc.
Generation Heading Template
The Generation Heading Template sets the default template used to construct generation headings by the Chapter People - Ancestors User Item. The default value is:
Generation [M:Number]
You may customize the Generation Heading Template for a Chapter People - Ancestors item by entering a template into the Generation Heading Template property of the Chapter People - Ancestors item.

Couple Heading Template
The Couple Heading Template sets the default template used to construct couple headings by the Chapter People - Ancestors User Item. The default value is:
[S]< and [PO]>
The default template produces the names of the people in the couple. When the heading is rendered, the next person (the first member of the couple) is tghe subject, and the subject's partner, who is also an ancestor, is the "other principal".
You may customize the Couple Heading Template for a Chapter People - Ancestor item by entering a template into the Couple Heading Template property of the Chapter People - Ancestors item.

Descendant-related Properties
Number Words
The Number Words string contains words for generation numbers. Words are separated by the || delimiter. The first word is for generation zero, the second is for generation one, etc.

The Generation Heading Template sets the default template used to construct generation headings by the Chapter People - Descendants User Item. The default value is:
Generation [M:Number]

Family Heading Template
The Family Heading Template sets the default template used to construct family headings by the Chapter People - Descendants User Item. The default value is:
<[R:Child:2+]Children|Child> of [S]< and [PO]>
The default template produces "Children of descendant and spouse" when there are two or more children included and produces "Child of descendant and spouse" when there is only one child.
You may customize the Family Heading Template for a Chapter People - Descendants item by entering a template into the Family Heading Template property of the Chapter People - Descendants item.
